Discussion Forums

Our forums are open to all licensed Instinct Studio developers. They contain questions and answers to problems that the development community have encountered in the past and should be your first port of call for support.

Documentation

The Instinct Studio documentation is provided in both .chm and online formats and is updated with every release. It covers all aspects of working with the software and is fully searchable. Several tutorials are provided to quickly bring you up to speed. For programmers, a full C++ API reference with descriptions of all interfaces is included. The scripting properties of every component are also detailed.

Video Tutorials

A set of video presentations is provided to quickly familiarise artists and programmers with Instinct Studio. These are available online in the community section of this website.

Example Framework and Assets

Instinct Studio comes with a set of example scenes designed to show you how to achieve common game development tasks using the software. We also provide a library of professional quality assets (including characters, weapons, world objects & sounds). These assets can be used to quickly prototype your game and can even be included in your own game.
